This is a good swimming pool cover for my 8 foot round swimming pool. It actually stays on the swimming pool. We have had some big Thunder/Wind storms here and it has stayed on the pool. It’s easy to install and has a rope string to keep it tight on the pool. It does have some holes on the top, that’s to let the rain water go through so it doesn’t stress the cover or pool. Works pretty good and doesn’t let much dirt or bugs in the pool when covered. Very pleased with the pool cover.
I just want to put here that the holes in the cover another reviewer complained of are there intentionally. If it rains, and there were no holes, the cover would fill with water, making it incredibly heavy and hard to remove. I don’t get a lot of debris (leaves, etc.) or dirt in my pool, I just get a ton of bugs, and for my purposes, it’s worked well. If you live in a dry, windy area, where you would get dirt blown in, it would HELP, but the drain holes would still probably allow some to enter, but I’d venture a guess that this cover would still be a big help. It stays on (which is more than can be said for other covers), and has kept me from having to use my net to clean out bugs quite as much, so to me it’s well worth it.
