Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few reviews from owners of the Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Sportsman’s Charcoal Grill.
First thing I did as soon as I got it home was to put it together and prepped for a couple steaks. I really like the ability to get awesome grill marks from the cast iron – the lighter wire grill grates just cant quite get the heat quality that this does. After dinner, dump the ashes and it doubles as a 33lb dumbbell for you to work on your biceps with! Don’t drop it, keep it properly oiled, and your great grand kids will enjoy it after you’re gone. Highly recommended!
This is a great little grill. I had absolutely no problems using it, and, after I was done, it was easy to clean and to put back into the box it came in for easy storage. Very convenient. Recently, I cooked on this grill a rack of lamb using mesquite coals (I do not use charcoal). I removed the top grill grate and skewered the meat on three large skewers and placed them lengthwise . The meat on skewers was closer to coals than it would be if I used the top grate, so I decided to remove the inner grate to increase the distance between the meat and the coals. It worked out great. I think this grill has sufficient cooking surface to prepare food for 3-4 people. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small grill.
