Along with nice weather summer also brings out in full force all those unwanted insects. Controlling ants is easy if you use Maxforce Ant Bait. Unlike spays or other traps that rely on killing only the ants that come in contact with the trap or spray, Maxforce allows the ants to carry the bait back into the nest to wipe out the entire colony. In three to five days you will see fewer ants. Application is simple as you apply the pea sized blobs of gel in places where you see ants foraging. The gel will attract the ants for approximately two weeks. For best results place the gel near the ants not directly on them and avoid placingĀ in the middle of a trail of ants.
The gel may be used both indoors and outdoors. The ant gel is manufactured by Bayer and shown to be effective against many types of ants including Little Black Ants, Pavement, Cornfield and Argentine. The package comes complete with four 27 grams bottles and a plastic plunger to use in applying the gel. If you are looking for a long lasting product that will effectively kill off colonies of ants pick up the Maxforce Ant Bait Gel.

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few reviews from owners of the Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel.
For the past 5 years I’ve had infestations of ants every spring. Like clockwork, swarming ants enter my house in early April. I would spray Raid etc. and it would slow them down but they’d keep coming for weeks after the initial swarm. At least 3 different types of ants come into the house at different intervals of the spring. This year I was ready. I bought 2 boxes of the gel last year (along with the dispensing gun) to have it ready for this spring. As soon as I saw the winged little buggers I put down a bunch of this stuff near their trails. The following two days saw fewer ants and within a week I saw none at all. I did this at three different times for three different types of ants (pavement, small black ants and large black ants). In my kitchen I found pavement ants (they love anything sugary) which were going after a bottle of maple syrup I had out. I put a few drops of the Max Force by the wall where I saw their trail and watched as they ate it up. 2 days later, no ants.
I had small black ants all over my kitchen counters. I put a smear of honey and peanut butter on foil in 2 corners of the counter that had the most ants. This would serve 2 purposes. It would tell me if the ants were going after protein (peanut butter) or carbohydrates (sugar), and it would cause the ants to create at trail. By creating a trail, I would know where they were coming from, and they would eat what was on the foil and not be all over my counter tops. I put the Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel next to the honey (they were not attracted to the peanut butter), and within 24 hours, no ants!
