For the past 5 years I’ve had infestations of ants every spring. Like clockwork, swarming ants enter my house in early April. I would spray Raid etc. and it would slow them down but they’d keep coming for weeks after the initial swarm. At least 3 different types of ants come into the house at different intervals of the spring. This year I was ready. I bought 2 boxes of the gel last year (along with the dispensing gun) to have it ready for this spring. As soon as I saw the winged little buggers I put down a bunch of this stuff near their trails. The following two days saw fewer ants and within a week I saw none at all. I did this at three different times for three different types of ants (pavement, small black ants and large black ants). In my kitchen I found pavement ants (they love anything sugary) which were going after a bottle of maple syrup I had out.
