Get The Scoop On The La Crosse Technology 9160U Digital Thermometer

Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. Here are a few reviews from owners of the La Crosse Technology Digital Thermometer.

I purchased this thermometer to get outside temperature on my nightstand (note: the display is not lighted, so you have to shine something on it if you want to read it in the dark.) Setup was very easy, had no connection problems, and appears to stay in communications. (i.e I have not had to reset anything since the first time I set the unit up.) The display is large and easy to read. Overall build quality is good. I wasn’t sure whether to rate this a 4 or a 5, only because I don’t know how accurate the device is. Obviously positioning of the outside sensor/transmitter is important. I chose a location that would be relatively protected from the weather/rain.

So far, I am pleased with this thermometer. We followed the directions for setting it up (as was suggested in another review), and it works perfectly. I’ve placed the remote thermometer in various locations, and it has connected and worked every time. I compared the temperature reading with my other thermometer, and it is accurate. The display is large and easy to read. I also like the silver coloring. It has min and max temperature memory, which I like. The only thing I wish it had is a humidity reading. Good thermometer overall.
